Faking Mixtape Download Numbers…The new “Hip Hop Fad” (O__O)
January 5th, 2010

I’d like to start this off by saying first that I am not a fan of Bow Wow nor did I download his latest piece of shit mixtape. With that out the way, this article is not directly aimed towards Bow Wow or any of the artists mentioned. This article is strictly about websites faking numbers of downloads on things they post and while this article is mostly going to place focus on “HNHH” and “LIMELINX” both are NOT the only websites out there that is faking numbers. It is just the most recent and the first that I feel like exposing.
I spotted this @ Youraudiofix.com and was completely disgusted at how easy it is. Read the rest of the article here.
The Journey To Becoming A Nahright.com Regular: Mickey Factz
January 2nd, 2010

We proceeded to send song after song and it never got posted. I began to get frustrated. Started devising different plans. I recorded a Success freestyle with Donny Goines cause he was on Nahright so much. I was like, since I know Donny, maybe this will segue into being posted. Negative. Didn’t get posted. Then, I started hitting up every blog asking them. 2dopeboyz, DifferentKitchen, etc. Nothing. I even sent my press kit. NOPE!

$90 Million = Winning New York City’s Mayor Re Election
November 4th, 2009

The girl on the right in the blue hat isnt so thrilled.
Ninety million dollars and a near-constant loop of negative commercials about his opponent later, the mayor ended election night in possession of a surprisingly modest margin of victory — far narrower than pollsters had predicted and with 100,000 fewer votes than he won in 2005. This could have profound implications for the tenor of a third Bloomberg term, not least that it is likely to hinder the mayor’s well-honed ability to cow Democrats and liberal interest groups. “You’re going to see Democrats lining up to run in 2013, and they’ll start next week,” said George Arzt, a longtime campaign consultant who generally works for Democrats. “For a mayor who is very confident in himself, this is an earthquake.” via: NyTimes.com
