J. Cole Returns to St. John’s

Above is the only clear footage (so far) of J. Cole’s first performance at his alma mater, St. John’s. This was Cole’s first time returning to St. John’s to perform live since he graduated and was signed to Roc Nation so it was a big moment for his career. I was at the concert and it was clear that Young Simba appreciates the come up he’s made, I hope ya’ll are warmed up.

“Since the inception of the BAPE GALLERY, we’ve seen different artistic mediums occupy the space. From the furniture-based BAPE Study Exhibition, the latest showcase treads along one of A Bathing Ape’s most familiar signatures. The CAMOCOLLAGE 2010 exhibition will feature BAPE’s iconic Bapehead camouflage which was integral in the brand’s early popularity. The camo print will be available over a series of canvas in four different sizes and three different colors. The exhibition will run from Friday, April 30th till Sunday, May 15th”

Inglorious Basterds Benefit Art

There is some dope alternate artwork for the film Inglorious Basterds going on sale, check the info below and more pics after the jump.
SA Studios, The Weinstein Company, Upper Playground and Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 film Inglourious Basterds come together to present THE LOST ART OF INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS. The exhibition will showcase a series of artist interpretations based on Tarantino’s well-received and Oscar-nominated World War II film. Artists on-board include David Choe, Sam Flores, Estevan Oriol, Grotesk, Jeremy Fish, Patrick Martinez, Alex Pardee, Dora Drimalas, Munk One, N8 Van Dyke, Rene Alamanza, Morning Breath and Skinner Davis. Only 6 pieces will be available for each creation and hand-signed by Tarantino himself. The exhibition takes place on February 18th from 6 pm – 9 pm at Upper Playground Los Angeles with each print priced at $300 USD. Sales from the prints will benefit Haiti Earthquake Relief on behalf of the Red Cross.
