While at the Colors Festival in Paris this past weekend, Jay Elect performed Googly Eyes, over the classic Madlib instrumental; a track that will presumably be included on the indefinitely postponed Act II.

Continuing his Gift Raps tour, Chip makes a pit stop at the Wild Hare in Chicago.  As part of his performance, Chip performed an unreleased joint, produced by Chuck Inglish,  with the other half of the Cool Kids, Sir Michael Rocks.  Be on the lookout for Chip, as he seems to be picking up momentum since touring and working closely with IllRoots.

Above is some video footage of a freestyle Kanye West dropped during a tour stop in Singapore and he goes IN. Some are already dubbing this “Pinnochio’s Story 2″ and it definitely follows a similar theme of redemption while balancing life in the spotlight…enjoy some spur of the moment genius.

A few weeks ago, Jay hosted a free concert in Brooklyn in conjunction with the City Parks foundation.  Luckily, Creative Control was there to capture the moment for us.  Highlights of his performance include his performances of Dear Moleskine and few other Just Blaze produced cuts.

BluRoc Festival 2010, June 21: Trademark’s Debut Performance in NYC

Still riding momentum from Issue 2, Trademark is set to make his debut NYC performance this coming monday at the Brooklyn Bowl.

Ski Beatz, along with Stalley and Rugz D Bewler of the Dojo, perform a few cuts off the upcoming classic, 24 Hour Karate School.

Above is the only clear footage (so far) of J. Cole’s first performance at his alma mater, St. John’s. This was Cole’s first time returning to St. John’s to perform live since he graduated and was signed to Roc Nation so it was a big moment for his career. I was at the concert and it was clear that Young Simba appreciates the come up he’s made, I hope ya’ll are warmed up.

While performing her set at her show earlier this week, my favorite female hip hopper covers Erykah Badu’s vocals for The Roots’ timeless single from Things Fall Apart, You Got Me.

While showcasing his upcoming album Pilot Talk at the Karate School last night, $pitta performed this smooth tune.  There’s no word of when the album is dropping as it was tentatively scheduled to release last month.  Nevertheless, I’m in no rush as last time $pitta made us wait for Smokee Robinson, we weren’t upset.
