KAWS, the New York based art brand has plans to collaborate with the largely popular Mexican-based beer company, Dos Equis. Not much is known yet besides the collection supposedly being sold exclusively in Mexico. Stay tuned though.  And of course.. Stay thirsty, my friends

Above is an extreme treat…here is an inside look at legendary street artist Banksy’s creative process. In this film Banksy among other street artists are filmed while working on their creative pieces. This movie represents a triumph of the platform and serves to celebrate one of the most heralded street artists of our generation while in his element so check the trailer and enjoy.

Above is a promotional clip released by Harley Davidson featuring Pharrell the designer of the beautiful vintage bike featured in the spot. It’s a classic American theme spliced with several familiar Pharrell elements such as vintage Billionaire Boys Club stickers on the gas tank and one Ice Cream’s signature logo’s is also prominent. Be sure to check this one out

As a fan of KAWS contemporary works and collaborations, this footage gives you insight into KAWS ‘ journey thus far and their ability to maintain artistic integrity thirteen years later.

“Exclusive Footage of KAWS tearing it up on the streets of NYC and Tokyo in 1997. This is his first bus-stop in NYC, a bunch of pieces in Tokyo, along with some great commentary by fellow artist Ron English.”

Another classic rendition from the good folks over at A Bathing Ape.  The Crape comes in three colorways; each pair features a 100% suede-textured upper combined with an old-fashioned, vintage, off-white sole. The red/blue Bape Crape contains more of a yellow tint on the sole as opposed to off-white. Additional colorways include brown/red and blue/neon yellow. No word on the release date/price.

Fresh off their blog launch, DD172 blessed us with a few goodies this morning.  Among them, DD172 debuted the artwork for $pitta’s upcoming album “Pilot Talk” which is dropping this summer.  The cover art was illustrated by David Barnett, Art Director of Bluroc Records, working directly with Curren$y on the design and feel of the cover.

In lieu of Jellybean’s game 6 tonight, its only fitting we take a peak at the sprouting beanstalk in his high school days of Lower Marion High in Philly.

Above is a picture of the roughly 5 foot piece of art that Picasso completed in a single day in March of 1932. The piece which was only displayed publicly once in 1961 sold for $117 million to a private bidder earlier this month. It now ranks as the third most expensive painting.
